The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) is one of the leading global specialist bodies providing training and certification for members in the field of risk management. As part of the Digital Transformation Programme, the IRM sought to redevelop their entire website. Based on having seen our work with existing insurance clients, IRM approached us under competitive tender.
The digital transformation meant moving all membership services online. This included subscriptions and renewals, course bookings, content and resources, and training. We recommended the Umbraco content management system, as the only open source CMS recommended by Microsoft.
The new website is fully integrated to IRM’s back office customer relationship management (CRM) system. It has significantly reduced the admin burden for the IRM’s office staff by providing self-service options online for members. This frees up time and resource to generate more memberships and training bookings, ultimately to grow revenue.
