Many software suppliers promise all the benefits of agile development, but it doesn’t suit every business or project.  Our approach aims to determine from the outset whether elements of costs, timings and scope are movable or set in stone.  We check if you actually want an iterative delivery and whether the requirements can effectively be broken down into testable sprints.  Only then can we recommend the right balance of agile techniques to complement how you work.

Because we break up your project into cycles or sprints, your software gets in front of users quicker.  This means that clarifications or changes can be identified and incorporated during the development phase.  Not only does this reduce cost but it enhances quality and delivers an end solution that better fits your needs.

Communication is key to a successful software project.  Our collaborative approach means that we build in time for regular updates and review sessions.  We find face to face meetings are best but sometimes it is more efficient to meet and share progress over Skype.  You can rest assured that there will always be someone who knows your project at the end of the phone when you need them.

Quality Policy

Software Solved is committed to the principles of quality in all services it provides. From initial handling of pre-sales to final delivery of agreed outputs we have an established set of processes designed to maximise the quality of the client's experience. We are committed to improving the effectiveness of our quality management system and the policy is reviewed at least annually, as part of the management review programme or at a frequency determined by:

  1. The changing needs and expectations of relevant interested parties, Section 2.3.
  2. The risks and opportunities that are presented through the risk management process, Section 5.1 

Our quality management system is ISO9001 certified.  We have processes to ensure our initial understanding of our client's requirements are correct as well as the subsequent design, development, testing and release of the finished product.  Regular monthly assessments are carried out on defined processes to ensure they are complied with and non-conformance and process improvements are identified and recorded.  This ensures that process and quality are constantly reiterated and that everyone knows what is expected of them.

We have set our own quality objectives that enable us to measure our own effectiveness at delivering what the client requires, right first time, on time and within budget.  We believe that our approach of building quality into our products is enhanced by ensuring our clients are able to feedback to us in an effective manner.  With this in mind we carry out regular client meetings and service reviews as well as sending out an annual customer satisfaction survey.
