As we are all learning to adapt in this changing landscape I wanted to drop you a note to let you know how we’re managing things here at Software Solved.
Our priority, as I know it is for you too is the health, safety and well being of both our staff and customers.
Remote working
With that in mind I made the decision to close our offices as of 5pm on Friday 20th March. We’re in the fortunate position that we are already set up for remote working as it is something that we offer to all of our team and is part of our business continuity plan as well, so we have been able to make the transition without disruption to our staff and clients. We are making more of the tools we use, such as Microsoft Teams and Slack to stay connected as a team, and encouraging everyone to turn on the webcam so we can still actually see each other (sounds small but makes a huge difference). Safeguarding mental health is just as important as physical health, so we’re also replacing ad-hoc face to face chats with regular video check ins and even have an app to randomly pair team members for a catch up. We’re also trying to keep people upbeat in these very concerning circumstances by using Slack to transfer the office spirit and sense of fun in to the world of digital and more.

So it’s very much a case of business as usual here at Software Solved and we’re pleased to be here to support you at this turbulent time.
