Yes. Notes can help you to add additional information to images allowing you to place points of interest over important areas. To add a Note, simply tap on the image where you would like the note to appear. A text box will then show, allowing you to enter a title and description for that note. Selecting the ‘OK’ button will then close the text box and save that Note on your image

Yes. Linking images together will help you create a seamless walkthrough of your survey, allowing you to easily move from one image to the next via ‘Link’ points of interest on the image itself in the form of directional arrows. To add a Link, simply click on the image where you would like the Link to appear. The ‘Add Point of Interest’ screen will then show, allowing you to select the ‘Link’ point of interest from the ‘Type’ dropdown menu. A dropdown menu will then appear beneath titled ‘Images’, whereby you can select the image that you would like to create a Link to. This feature is currently only available in the web portal.

Yes. Using the ‘Hide’ point of interest will allow you to hide people’s faces or other sensitive information that may be captured in your image. To add a Hide icon, simply click on the image where you would like the Hide icon to appear. The ‘Add Point of Interest’ screen will then show, allowing you to select the ‘Hide’ point of interest from the ‘Type’ dropdown menu. A dropdown menu will appear beneath titled ‘Shape’, whereby you can select the shape you would like the Hide icon to be, either a circle or a square. After selecting your preferred shape, clicking the ‘OK button will close the screen and the Hide icon will be added to your image. This feature is currently only available in the web portal.  

Yes. When you have finished adding any additional information to your survey, you can then share this with 3rd parties by publishing your completed survey. ‘Publishing’ a survey creates a unique URL address to a read-only version of your survey, which you can then share with 3rd parties. People you share the URL with don’t have to have a SurveyorTech account view at your survey. 

Yes. You can use your phone or tablet’s in-built camera to take images. By selecting the Device button on the SurveyorTech app, you can change the capture method from a connected 360 camera to your device’s in-built camera. To take a picture from your device’s camera, you just need to select the Device button on the Survey Menu page. An icon of a mobile device should show above the button, meaning you are now ready to capture an image using the in-built camera. Pressing the capture button will bring up a preview of your device’s camera view and you can start taking photos!
