The Challenge

Software Solved’s experts quickly got to grips with a bespoke system that had been developed for a Global Drinks Client. Although we hadn’t been involved with its development, our knowledge and expertise in systems means we can maintain and develop the site to continue to support the changing needs of the business.

The Solution

Even though we hadn’t been involved in the original development of this bespoke system, we took over its maintenance. Working closely with the client to understand their business objectives we ensure it effectively supports the company’s business strategy.

As a trusted partner we don’t just listen to client requests we also put forward alternative solutions when needed. For example, the client asked us for the ability to create negative value transactions to reflect credit notes, but we suggested it would be better to implement this in a different area of the website. They took note and it had a large impact on the delivery and timescales.

"We have been able to improve the application and provide a better service to our users."

Business people meeting at office and use sticky notes on glass wall in office, diverse employees people group planning work together brainstorm strategy.

The Outcome

The client is happy we are helping them to manage strategically important budgets and analysis as effectively as possible. With Software Solved supporting the system, the team are free to concentrate on actually using the information it produces, for example by rolling out internal training programmes or enhancing the way the reporting function is used.
