Providing critical warehouse management system support

The Challenge

The mission-critical warehouse management system operated by Nissin was originally written and supported by a single individual at their previous bespoke software supplier.

After the individual chose to cease involvement with the system, it was left unsupported from a day-to-day perspective and for future developments leaving Nissin highly exposed.

Roadmap for a business critical system infrastructure

The Solution

We performed a full systems health check of the system to assess the viability of the infrastructure from both support and future development perspectives.

We were able to recommend a series of measures for securing ongoing viability of what was a business-critical application.

The Outcome

After our experts had got to know the system, Software Solved were subsequently able provide ongoing second line support and work closely with Nissin, their customers suppliers and partners to help deliver a number of projects critical to the success of the organisation.

One such project played a crucial role in the delivery of the ‘2SV’ Honda Civic.
